Parenting gone awry

I think I may be coming on too strong with my teaching techniques.

Today, I was posting a recipe on another blog and I heard little Sadie Grace yelling to me.

Sadie: "Hey, Mommy! Mommy! MOMMY! Wook at me!" Pedalling around the kitchen on her tricycle.

Me: "Oh my goodness honey!"

Sadie: "I pedo it aw by mysef!"

Me: "Sadie, I am so proud of you!!"

Sadie: "Is Satan happy ow (or) sad at me?"

We have had many discussions about making Jesus happy and Satan sad and I guess she just needed some clarification if pedaling was a good and righteous act or one that she should be sorely ashamed for...

"I believe our problems, almost every one, arise out of the homes of the people. If there is to be reformation, if there is to be a change, if there is to be a return to old and sacred values, it must begin in the home. It is here that truth is learned, that integrity is cultivated, that self-discipline is instilled, and that love is nurtured."
