Newport Life, Day 5

Ahem.. Luke your cuteness is showing.

Maddie spent more time in the sand than on her feet.
This was actually kind of impressive, she had just dove to bump the ball.
The ball went over the net, and someone hit it right back to her and she hit it again, from this position on her stomach in the sand. Went over the net even.
Pretty cool.

Zany and Sadie playing on the beach
while the silly adults go swimming in the frigid ocean

Our poor little ones were like a bunch of orphan children.
No toys, so they played "Bowden arrows" as Luke likes to call it.
Luke broke 3 hangers while we were there.
Such a menace.

Savannah, Daysha and Tanner on kitchen duty

The crazies going up to the roof on our spiral staircase of death.

"I believe our problems, almost every one, arise out of the homes of the people. If there is to be reformation, if there is to be a change, if there is to be a return to old and sacred values, it must begin in the home. It is here that truth is learned, that integrity is cultivated, that self-discipline is instilled, and that love is nurtured."
