The days of my life..

My days are filled with these
two things lately-

Construction:
We are putting a wall up
so we can rent out our basement apartment.
It is a sacrifice we are willing to make to try
to help our college student avoid a bunch of debt.
If any of my readers know of a cute newlywed couple
that is looking for a place to live, let me know.
It is really going to be a cute place.
Has it's own entry and a place to park in the garage.

Chinese Homework.
This is Luke practicing his characters.
It is a lot of work, but I can already say, it's worth it!

That looks like quite the project. I will let you know if I hear of anyone looking to rent. Do you want couples only? As in- no kids?
You are probably looking for someone long-term- but there are lots of optometry families who come to Utah for 3 month (or longer) rotations during their last year of school- we might be able to try and spread the word.
And one other thing- the church will pay you $500/month to house missionaries- not sure how much you're hoping to get out of your basement- but that might be an option.
Good luck!

Luke is amazing -- we're so proud of him for taking on such a challenge. Guess you'll have to learn to speak to Sophie in Chinese so she won't know that you're being mean to her. Luke can teach you what to say . . .

"I believe our problems, almost every one, arise out of the homes of the people. If there is to be reformation, if there is to be a change, if there is to be a return to old and sacred values, it must begin in the home. It is here that truth is learned, that integrity is cultivated, that self-discipline is instilled, and that love is nurtured."
